It consists of a wooden block where 6 egg shaped faces can be placed. the faces can be placed to show different emotional expressions which is great for emotion learning. There are also 15 cards printed front and back with a variety of pattern options. Children can use the card to match up the faces in the wooden block. So perception, planning, focus and thinking are all benefits!

We need to look for any opportunity with children to teach them to be able to identify and recognise emotions, this not only helps them to better understand themselves but also helps with their social skills in being able to notice others emotional expressions.
