I often make coping skill charts with the kiddies I work with. The ‘My Feelings Pillow’ is also based on this idea. I thought it would be great if the whole family could be exposed to the coping skill options when faced with difficult emotions and all use the chart. Role modeling appropriate expression of emotion is a wonderful way to reinforce this knowledge and behaviour with your children and it can be a team effort!!
