Self-esteem is such an important part of who we are, how we feel, how we cope and how we behave.  It is our overall subjective sense of self-worth but some children really struggle to be able to identify their strengths and values, to really like themselves or even appreciate who they are and what they can do.  So often children compare themselves to others and  view themselves in an unrealistic manner, but if each child could take a moment to explore their passions,  interests and achievements they would be pleasantly surprised to see how amazing THEY ARE!!

‘The Fastest Fly Catching Frog Around’ is a story about a Little Frog who is weighed down by shame and embarrassment at not being able to be like all the other frogs. That is until Ruben the Rabbit bumps into him and is amazed at how talented the Little Frog is.   Fred the frog couldn’t see his strengths and just needed some reminding.  A Story to Build Self-Esteem and Self Worth
