Description
A Story to Help Children Understand and Accept Differences
In this story the squirrel has a problem with squealing. It just seems to come out whenever and wherever it wants to. Her forest friends struggle to understand this problem and become very frustrated and impatient with her. Until they realise that they too have things that they do that they hadn’t noticed before.
‘The Squealing Squirrel’ helps children understand that everyone has imperfections. It encourages them to take note of their own behaviour and the importance of having understanding and acceptance for others differences.
